First and foremost, there's been school - I'm almost done with my summer class, my final being this coming Friday. So far I'm pretty much guaranteed an A, as I've gotten fantastic scores on two tests, and with a little luck, the third test will be open book open note too! *crosses fingers*
Second, I've been slacking. I know I've been slacking, just hanging out, surfing the webs, and watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer DVDs, which I bought for $15 each at Wal-Mart while my friend Chris was buying his shiny new laptop (making Diablo II LAN time even more fun... and less at Chris's apartment).
Third, I've been writing:
See? That's me, typing away on my laptop. I'm working on a novel for JulNoWriMo, which is like what I did last November (write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days), except of course in July. So I'm working on adapting the script I tried and failed to write last April (because school ate my soul), a fantasy story called Lost In Arkhasia. More on that later. So yeah, that's been eating up most of my free time, trying to write 50,000 words in a month - which is a lot, if you consider that a single page in MS word typed in 12 point times new roman font, double spaced with 1 inch margins is 500-600 words.
That and in exactly two weeks we're all packing up and road-tripping out to San Diego for Comic-Con 2009.
So yeah, crazy busy times. I'm having a blast though. Other things I've been up to for the last couple of weeks:
1: Beating Diablo II on Normal difficulty
2: Watching Seasons six and seven of Buffy
3. Watching Legend of the Seeker
4. Buying a shiny comfy chair for my desk
5. Watching Braveheart on the fourth of July
6. Spending some quality time with my boyfriend
7. Eating a copious amount of bean dip and other mexican food
8. Cleaning the apartment.
Life's been busy, but hopefully I'll be able to update this thing a little more regularly.
